By<br>integrating the concept of smart buildings, we can achieve a perfect energy efficiency as well as<br>electrical devices monitoring. In this experiment, we are going to investigate the occupancy in a<br>room and estimate the number of people using a CO2 sensor network. The concentration of<br>CO2 in a room is a good indicator of the number of people in this room. Data collection is going<br>to be performed and we will be able to visualize all the data coming from the sensors using<br>Grafana. We are going to visualize and analyze this data in order to correctly address this<br>problem. Its purpose is connecting<br>every electronic device used. Thus, giving the user the ability to control every electronic item<br>in his surroundings, from turning on the TV to locking doors or changing heating temperature.<br>Everything is connected through internet into a single controller, giving the user a total control of<br>his home.<br>Smart homes are designed to provide a better quality life to the user and even to promote a<br>responsible energy consumption. According to the results obtained by the Schlage&#8217;s Industry<br>Insight Survey [1], the 86 % of the young population would be willing to pay more rent to live in<br>a smart house. Even the 44 % of them would exchange a parking lot for living in a smart home.<br>Therefore, Smart Homes promises to have a bright future.<br>Although, IoT brings great bene\fts it can not be forgotten the possibles risks that comes associated<br>to it. The data stored from the devices contains crucial information about the users. The stored<br>data from the electronic devices can be used to detect patterns in the behaviour and suppose a<br>risk to the security. This make the user vulnerable to cyber attacks, that could derive on physical<br>robberies in home users.<br>The purpose of the present project is to analyse the limits of security in smart homes, and discover<br>how easily could be to identify the patterns of behaviour of a smart home user. The building sector is responsible for almost 40% of the primary energy consumption. If building renovation and using energy efficient systems, the IEA in Annex 66 relates that the energy efficient efforts can not go without a behavioural change from the occupants. Optimistically occupants can become more and more sober in their energy consumption, but the transition will not be that easy. The goal of this miniproject is to create an interactive application based on a predictive controller that enables energy savings but also awareness raising for occupants. The predictive controller needs to be able to forecast the occupancy based on machine learning techniques. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of daily weather changes on people consumer habits. It is proposed, considering the mood and mood management theory that inclement and uncomfortable weather conditions are associated with lower human mood and therefore watching entertainment may serve to repair such feelings. Thus, in times of harsh weather conditions the television programs consumption is supposedly increased. It will be studied how data coming from smart sensors can be graphically used to raise awareness over media consumption habits and how they can be used to help users track their activity in a meaningful way. Pour cela la domotique est tr\u00e8s utile, car elle permet de monitorer les consommations d\u2019un<br>b\u00e2timent puis de le piloter intelligemment \u00e0 distance. Le syst\u00e8me mis en oeuvre dans cette \u00e9tude, utilisant<br>un LoPy, le module LoRa, le serveur The Things Network (TTN) et une Raspberry Pi permet de cr\u00e9er un<br>syst\u00e8me de domotique peu cher, puissant et facile \u00e0 prendre en main. De la meilleure gestion de la production et consommation au<br>limitations des pertes du moindre syst\u00e8me \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique, ils ont une place majeure dans le<br>domaine de l\u2019\u00e9nergie. Celle-ci<br>regroupe plusieurs capteurs n\u00e9cessaires pour \u00e9tudier la performance \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique d\u2019un<br>logement. Dans le cadre de notre projet, nous allons cr\u00e9er une valise de diagnostic<br>\u00e9nerg\u00e9tique avec des capteurs fixes, utilisables de mani\u00e8re autonome. Nous int\u00e9grons des<br>capteurs de temp\u00e9rature, de luminosit\u00e9, de mouvement, d\u2019ouverture de porte et fen\u00eatre, de<br>qualit\u00e9 d\u2019air et des ampoules connect\u00e9es. Cette valise est principalement \u00e0 destination des<br>m\u00e9nages. Elle peut \u00e9ventuellement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9e dans le secteur tertiaire. The real-time knowledge of occupation of such spaces is relevant both for maintaining indoor air quality standards and for energy efficiency purposes connected with the operation of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) systems. The exact knowledge of occupation allows for rapid feedback from and the regulation of an HVAC system and the ventilation rate.
